You should do like a bunch of the cousins have done and make a public blog that you update only with a link to your private blog every time you post. Like mine: raffertyhouseupdates.blogspot.com or Caryn's: http://becknewstoo.blogspot.com/. That way those of us who use readers or subscribe to your RSS feed will still know when to check your blog but other people won't be able to see your private posts :)
