Just Stuff

Yes, we are still alive over here in Arizona. I think I may possibly be the worst blogger ever; here's hoping for a better new year! ;) I just thought I'd do a ...quick?... update on what's new and happening now in our sunny state!

Every day you can see Hallie doing this..
wearing these...

We're pretty much outside as much as possible everyday. It's been gorgeous on the side of slightly cool, but lately we're moving up to 75-80 instead of our 65-75...don't worry in a few months you'll all be laughing at me as we swelter :) For now though, it's my own slice of heaven. Speaking of which I'm enjoying my new Christmas present! Hayden totally splurged and is in trouble, but not TOO much trouble ;)
It's pretty much the most amazing stroller ever! Leilah loves it and usually falls asleep while Hallie encourages me with "faster mommy!" I'm so excited to get more serious about running and just being healthy!

I'm trying to let Hallie be more independent also so she's helping around the house more and also helping me cook instead of just the baking.
I'm kinda loving it....ya she's peeling an onion for me! (hee hee, I don't love that part, but she thought it was the greatest...I kinda did to!)

I've also been trying to branch out and sew a bit more. I need to take pictures of all the things I've done, but yet again posting happens at nap/quiet time so I'll have to wait until the babes wake up :) Here's a Christmas table runner I did though.

Leilah has been teething lately. Right now she's cutting her top 4 teeth... yes all at once.. No, there's not much sleep. Yes, there are never ending booggers, but all you mom's out there know this. I however didn't realize that with 4 at once it was 4 times less sleep, 4 times more crying, (including me.....jk.....kinda) and 4 times more boogers. Here's the great stuff though now that I'm done with all that lame complaining. Leilah is a snuggler :) Not just a little, a lot! She loves to be held, she give kisses like crazy, she tucks her tiny head in against your neck and puts her hand on your cheek the sits up looks at you and smiles and nestles back in. It's pretty much the sweetest thing in the world and as a bonus from Heavenly Father when she's grumpy she can also be extra sweet and snuggly :)

Here is her 8 month picture!

Ok time for cute stories :)

Here's a conversation Hallie and I had at dinner..

Me talking to Hayden – I feel like a w. a. l. k.

Hallie- what’s a w. ehlk?

Me – it’s a walk… w. a. l. k. walk

Hallie – I’m thinking about a k. y. z swimming!

On a bike ride....
Hallie - Mommy, look I'm a fast poke!

(that one took me a second but earlier I told her she was being a slow poke.. lol)

So life is pretty darn good. We're happy, healthy and love being together!

(of course visitors are always a plus too!)

Oh and a little jealous of the stroller!

The weather is a bit to be jealous over since Grandma has teachers screaming at her when they can't take the children outside because it is below 20 degrees out there. But the last two days have been pretty nice and with rain the snow is melting as well.
Love the stroller, looks really nice. Also love the bike and the girl riding it. Leilah's picture is very great also. Love the outfit , love the girl in it a lot more.

Cute post! What a darling picture of Leilah! Those eyes!

Rylie asks me every day if she can go see Hallie and tell her this or show her that. We need to get together again soon. It's been so crazy here with the move. Should hopefully be over in about 6 weeks(closing date is Feb 28 as long as everything goes smoothly). I've been packing for the last 4 weeks and have sooo far to go. Who knew with kids it takes a million times as long to pack up a house? They just love coming along behind me and UN-packing the boxes. We're having a garage sale this Saturday, or attempting to anyway :o)

Glad you're enjoying this weather. It's been beautiful.

I love the family pic at the top of your page! Gorgeous!

Your girls are so cute - love the pictures of them and their sweet smiles! And that table runner is cool - you're so talented! And I think it's awesome that he gave you that stroller - sometimes mommy's deserve to be spoiled a little, don't you think? :)
