Arizona

We made it to Arizona! And it's hot. The first day was 113 so the last few days around 103-105 have been relatively livable... Our apartment seems nice and it's pretty close to the school. I already miss everyone like crazy! My mom was here up until yesterday and that helped me stay in denial for a little while longer. But dropping her off at the airport seemed to wake me up to the fact that I'm here.. I'll be here for awhile because.... I actually live here... I feel so out of place driving in the metropolis. Who knew that so many people and stores could function so close together. I know what you're thinking; Glendale? metropolis? Well changing from Springville Utah, yup it is :) There are some benefits though, millions of restaurants, a mall, target and walmart close by, and random stores to explore. I'm trying to stay positive, I AM actually excited about Hayden starting school and moving forward with our lives, but that doesn't stop me from tearing up and having a giant spoon of peanut butter as I write this blog and think of my friends and family reading it far far away in Utah... :)

We miss you too!! It's so weird to not have you here. I'm so glad to hear you made it ok though. Btw we have a bunch of your mail, email me your address (candyfrogs_007@hotmail.com) and I'll forward it on. Good luck with that hot weather, it's been really rainey here the last few days.

Marsha and Scott should probably be down there by now and have some of your mail as well. We need your address also and it's good to see an updated blog. Do you remember the show called :The Mailbox" I think. Anyway a little clip by the church that shows the grandma faithfully walking each day down the long lane to fine no mil from her children. Well she finally gets a letter and walks back, opens the letter after sitting down in her chair and the neighbor finds her having passed away before she could read the letter. Well blogs are like mail and every time we go in and find the same thing day after day it starts to feel like how that film portrays the mother's feelings. So thanks for the update. We love you and know that your blood will thin and then you will really be cold in our house when you come to visit in November.

Love DAD

I have to say that I have a hard time with change and it is sad that you are no longer here and I hate to think of anyone else taking your place at the apartments but I guess I will have to get over it. It sounds like you are settling in good. We are all excited when you visit during Thanksgiving.

We are so excited to have you guys here! Welcome to the hottest place EVER! haha Seriously, it'll give us a chance to get to know you & your sweet girls & see Hayden. We (Caryn & I) couldn't be more excited! it'll be tough, but you'll learn to love it here. (I hope.)

We miss you already too! The boys will miss seeing Hallie especially when we visit Gramma and Grampa. Glad you made it safe and you're settling in! It's nice that you do have a bunch of cousins there already, so you won't be completely alone. I would love to come visit in the winter sometime, but we'll see how the weather is to get out of Utah. I will be jealous when the snow comes, but not right now. ;)

I am probably the last one to learn of your move because I have had little time to get on the blogs this summer. Congratulations, Hayden, on going back to school. We wish you the best. We hope you all enjoy your time in Arizona. How are your two darling daughters?

Mmmmm...Peanut butter...thats a good cheer up anyday! :) I"m glad to know we aren't the only one that still have surface of the sun heat in September. We are used to missing you, so we just REALLY look forward to November when we get to see you and hold and kiss that sweet little baby!

Quote from Miya in the car yesterday: "I miss that Cheyenne Girl." Cute huh? We love you!

You will learn to love Arizona. There are so many amazing and fun things to do. And YES for sure the mall and everything is just so close if your in the Arrowhead area.....and I am guessing so from the comment of the school and Glendale.
This is a fun and amazing new step in one of the chapters of your book of life. The church is so strong there you will met and become friends with member that will last a life time. I love and miss living there just because it is so different from Utah. Not in a bad way or a good way just different. Keep us all posted!! Btw your new addition is adorable!!

P.S. As the winter comes on you will just come to see why people love it there!! Miss those warm tempture winter days.:) The summer ones you just learn to adjust to.
