I've never been to an ultrasound, that is until yesterday. Our birthmother emailed me weeks ago and said that she would love for me to be there if I wanted to:) It was such an amazing experience! Seeing the wiggly little girl (YES GIRL!!!) wave to us with her tiny fingers and then open and close her mouth made all of this so much more real!
(side note) - Whenever I asked Hallie if our birthmom had a boy or girl in her tummy she would respond matter-of-factly with, "Mommy it's just a baby sister!" When we found out it was a girl (everyone was sure they had seen that it was a boy) the birthmom said, "Hallie knew! She was the only one that was right!" :)
Every little thing looked perfect and she looks 100% healthy, so we're all so happy! I got to take all of the pictures and the video home to show Hayden:) He loved looking at them and seeing how happy I was:) Both of the birthparents were there and their moms and they all gave me hugs and said congratulations:) I was/am so happy and full of gratitude! We feel beyond blessed for the miracle of adoption and birthparents that are so full of love and selflessness that are willing to help us build our family!

I could not be more happy for you guys! I am also pumped that we are following the pattern with our little girls about 1 month apart from eachother. Good girl! Dont you just think about those cute clothes that Hallie wore and get excited to pass them on?

Congratulations! Adoption really is such an amazing thing - we are so thankful in our family for the three children Kelly and Wade have been able to adopt! I'm so happy for you.
