Plan #1
Sell our house. We've been thinking about selling our house and moving to the Provo/Utah County area for awhile now but didn't put it into play until just last week. We found a fabulous realtor and put our cute little home on the market. I've been so excited about the possibility of moving closer to our families that I didn't realize I was SO attached to our friends, our house, and the safety in sameness. Apparently I don't love change, it scares the poop out of me. I know our house is small, but it's OUR HOUSE. Our first little home. It's all Hallie has known. And don't get me started on friends; play dates, scrap booking, cinnamon roll nights... Change is good and this will be a good change, but I'll be the first to admit I'm not the best at it.

Plan #2 Become Martha Stewart. Not it the whole jail time kind of way, but the homemaking crafty kinda way. I want to be a sewer. Hallie has her first homemade dress! I love Hallie in this little turkey dress, it may be my first attempt, and I've got a long way to go, but I'm giddy with the idea of more! A snowflake dress?! Easter dress!? How about some tutus!! The boring sections of craft stores (ie. fabrics, patterns, sewing machines) have lured me into their mind blogging possibilities.
Plan #3
Ready, Set, Potty!.... So ya that in and of itself is a big plan, which I've realized may never happen. Hallie will be in 5th grade wearing diapers. (oh please no) But apparently I've trained her wrong already. In order to take a nap, go to bed, or sleep after waking in the night, she HAS to have a bottle of milk. (Yes, another problem. We're supposed to be out of the bottle stage, but she loves it and how can I resist when she says, "Bottle of milk please".) So she wakes up in the morning with a beyond full diaper. The other night she finished the first 8 oz and wanted more so I filled it again and she guzzled down 6 oz more! The next morning she was soaked! Her pajamas front and back, top and bottom. All her blankets... yuck. But.... she sleeps! I am so worried about taking her out of diapers all day only to have the night a diaper time again. How can this work? I don't know how to change, but I guess I better figure it out. Suggestions please!?!?
Plan #4
Run another marathon! Ever since finishing the St. George Marathon in '05 I've known I wanted to run more... wanted being the operative word. My training pretty much ended when those 26.2 miles ended. I loved it, I was exhilarated, and then I was lazy. I'm going to have to start back at the beginning, 15 minutes at a time. I keep kicking myself for letting my endurance fall all the way back down to nothing, but what's a girl to do? Start again! If anyone wants to join me on this insane journey I'm going to try and put a calendar of my running schedule up so feel free to jog along!

(I'll be the one in the back.)

Maybe you shouldnt go. Maybe you and Hallie should just move in with me and Hayden can go do his school and in 4 or so years he can come back and get you guys. I try to be tough but really I cant imagine not having you next door to me! I have been spoiled and I like being spoiled. Then I can be your running partner (I will be better this time) and we can make all our cute dresses together. Deal? Alright, I know you need to go, but I can not like it if I want to!
I love the dress! It is so cute! I didn't know you guys were thinking of moving to Provo, is Hayden going to school at BYU now? I really need to be better at calling you guys.
As for potty training - from the books that I have read they say that it is perfectly acceptable to have kids in underwear during the day and diapers at night, and that it usually takes quite a while after they have mastered day time potty-ing to be able to get through the night. Although if you are serious about wanting Hallie to be dry at night you probably should forgo the bottle. I have no idea if it would be better to give her less and less or just go cold turkey.
Speaking of turkey, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Also - I will not be running a marathon with you. I know I am lazy and I am fine with that. The thought of a marathon makes me want to stay in bed and hide.
I think that I had something more I was going to say to you, but since I have already written a novelette, and forgotten what I was going to say I'll just have to think about it and write later. I love you!
that dress is so cute!! i love it. good job! i'm excited to have you guys closer, i might get more scrapin done that way :)
Don't stress about the diaper thing, we had the same problem with Gabe (and we're repeating it with Sam, we never learn). He had a big sippy full of milk before naps and bed! He always had a really full diaper in the morning so we just did pull-ups at night when we started. We did that for probably longer than necessary, and then when we were on vacation he fell asleep in his underwear and we didn't want to wake him up. He was dry the next morning and we never looked back! The more we harped on it the worse it was, but we have the world's most obstinate child so it probably won't be so bad for you! Good luck!
Oh, and we would be so excited if you guys were closer since we just can't take the screaming car rides!
Love ya!
can i be mad at you..because i am. first we move and dont get to see you very much and now your going to too? now we will never see you guys. :( i want to be neighbors again!
Heys Guys,
We were excited to stumble across your blog. It was nice to catch up on your lives and such. Sounds like you guys have a lot on your plate right now. Hopefully, you can accomplish it all on top of carrying out all of the christmas responsibilities. Good Luck!
By the way Hayden, I'm out of school for the holidays so I will for sure make it to a volley ball game this time. Ashley and I will be up in elk ridge for christmas so hit us up!

Who will you find when you are blog stalking? Hmmm...
Hey Guys,
I found your blog through Ryan and Ashley Hone's. It is good to hear what you are up to. Keep the updates coming so we can keep in touch. We still live in Springville so it would be fun to get a crew of people together sometime.

I will be right there in the back with you. Please do post your running schedule. I am on my way to getting back and running again. I had to stop for a few month...Dr.'s orders. By the way this is Liberty's mother Grace. Go ahead and add our blog to yours. Since you will be moving...we would love to stay in touch. Liberty really loved you so much as a teacher. And really misses you.
So I"m late checking your blog, but I love it! Its great to have a way to stay up to date with what you guys are doing. Anyway, we had the same issue with bottles with Miya, she would only drink milk in a bottle. BUT, she is totally obsessed with Diego and Dora. So I went out and bought Dora sippy cups and she was transformed. So maybe you could tempt her with some sippy cups decorated with her favorite TV character or something. As for potty training... I don't know, Miya pooped in the potty once and was so grossed out by what came out of her, she's afraid to do it again. Wierdy.
