Chaos is good, chaos is good,.... right?

I feel like life has been a whirlwind for the last month, but now it is finally settling down.... sort a. We sold our house and moved to Utah County. Hayden is in a new job and a new school and loves every minute. We're looking for an apartment while we stay with my parentals. We're also looking for a new car so I can breath. :) And while we're at it let's potty train Hallie, start a new diet and exercise plan, get a new calling and plan a family vacation to South Carolina/ Florida. (Hawaii isn't out of the picture for me yet either; by the way fam!)

It's good, but sometimes I feel like I'm trying to breath underwater; like some frantic little fish. Of course all of the chaos if for good, exciting, moving forward things. The up sides are that we have gone on more dates the last month than we have for the last 2 years. Hallie loves being near her cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Hayden LOVES school. The more I think about it, life really is good. I guess I just needed to vent a little and get it out there. We're happy and busy what more can we want. :)

Proud Mama

So I've always vowed that I would never be one of those moms; ya know the ones that can only talk about their kid and nothing else. So... ya that is apparently me. Of course I made that vow before Hallie came along and I had no idea how perfect, smart, sweet, and adorable she was going to be! So this is my Hallie post, all the amazing and silly things she's been doing lately.

Chocolate Ice

So traditionally we have hot cocoa while decorating for Christmas and this year was no exception. Hallie got hers in a sippy cup with ice to cool it off. Her first impression of this delicious treat was "REALLY YUMMY!" The next day I got her a drink of water in her sippy cup and she kept saying "chocolate ice!" over and over, getting increasingly urgent. Finally she pointed at the leftover hot cocoa from the day before and I realized she wanted hot cocoa. It's so cute how she comes up with stuff!

All Better

As most of you moms out there we kiss things better. But I've realized I have my limits. Lately when Hals needs her diaper changed she says, "change diaper, bum hurts." So naturally she has now added to the "hurts" part. It's basically evolved to "bum hurts, kiss it better." Nope.

Octagons

As we were driving to Hayden's parent's house we approached a stop sign. From the back see Hallie yells out, "I see the octagon!" What the?! She's one smart cookie!

Sweet kisses

At night we snuggle and as she drinks her milk. I always give her kisses and say, "love ya." The other night I gave her a kiss and before I could say love ya she piped up with, "Mommy so loves you!" and gave me another big kiss. I just melted right there. :)

Opinions

Hallie know just what she wants to wear, or sometimes just what she doesn't want to wear. If she doesn't want to wear something she just tells us it doesn't fit; shoes, hats, shirts, pants, socks, bibs. Recently she's wanted to wear our clothes. She found some pajama pants and was determined to wear them (Hayden encouraged the hat). She kept them on for about half an hour!
